When you hear the words “chemical peel,” what comes to mind?

Maybe it’s redness, flaking skin, several days without makeup, or carefully planning your treatment around your social calendar. Traditional chemical peels can deliver beautiful results, but the visible peeling and downtime aren’t always practical.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce the Renew Dermal Solution at Gotox Aesthetics. It’s a powerful, two-step professional peel designed to improve the appearance of your skin without the heavy peeling typically associated with deeper resurfacing treatments.

Think of it as the peel for people who want meaningful skin rejuvenation without putting their lives on pause (yes, please!).

What Is the Renew Dermal Solution?

The Renew Dermal Solution is a professional, two-step treatment created by FACTORFIVE. It combines a potent resurfacing solution with a calming solution containing human stem cell-derived growth factors.

The goal is twofold:

  1. Resurface and brighten the skin.
  2. Support the skin with regenerative proteins following treatment.

Unlike traditional peels that depend on visible layers of skin shedding, this treatment is designed to work beneath the surface without causing significant peeling or extended downtime.

Although it is often described as a “no-downtime peel,” every person’s skin responds differently. Some clients may experience temporary redness, sensitivity, dryness, or light flaking.

How Does This No-Downtime Peel Work?

The treatment uses two intentional steps.

Step One: Resurface and Renew

The first solution contains a combination of:

  • 29% trichloroacetic acid, or TCA: Helps remove dead skin cells and supports smoother-looking skin.
  • Kojic acid: Helps brighten the appearance of discoloration, sun damage and uneven skin tone.
  • Hydrogen peroxide: Used in the formula to support penetration and the skin-renewal process.
  • A specialized peptide: Helps improve the appearance of texture and visible discoloration.

The solution is carefully applied by your Gotox Esthetician based on your skin’s needs and tolerance.

Step Two: Calm and Support

After the first solution is removed, a calming formula is applied. This second step includes human stem cell-derived growth factors, copper peptides and white tea extract.

These ingredients are intended to soothe the skin and support the appearance of firmness, elasticity and smoother texture following treatment.

Does the Peel Contain Human Stem Cells?

No. This is an important distinction.

The treatment does not contain living stem cells. FACTORFIVE cultures ethically sourced adult adipose-derived stem cells in its laboratory and collects the proteins and signaling factors those cells release. The cells themselves are then removed through a filtration process.

What remains is called human stem cell conditioned media, which contains growth factors and other proteins used in the treatment’s calming second step.

Instead of relying only on growth factors obtained from your own blood or tissue, the formula provides professionally prepared, stem cell-derived proteins topically. These proteins are intended to complement your skin’s natural repair and renewal processes.

What Skin Concerns Can It Address?

The Renew Dermal Solution may help improve the appearance of:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Enlarged pores
  • Uneven or rough texture
  • Dullness
  • Sun damage
  • Dark spots and discoloration
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Mild skin laxity
  • Overall signs of aging

It may be especially appealing if you want brighter, smoother and more refreshed-looking skin but don’t want the visible peeling associated with some traditional chemical peels.

How Does It Compare With Other Peels?

Not every peel works the same way. The best option depends on your skin, your goals, and the amount of downtime you’re comfortable with. Your Gotox provider will help determine which treatment makes the most sense for your skin rather than simply recommending the strongest option.

Treatment Type

Can You Get This Peel During the Summer?

The Renew Dermal Solution is designed to avoid the photosensitivity associated with many traditional peels, making it a more summer-friendly option for appropriately selected clients.

However, “summer-friendly” does not mean sun protection is optional.

After any professional skin treatment, you should follow your provider’s aftercare instructions and use a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. You may also need to limit direct sun exposure, avoid tanning and postpone certain outdoor activities immediately following treatment.

If you have an upcoming vacation, beach day or prolonged sun exposure planned, tell your Gotox provider before scheduling your peel.

Is the Renew Dermal Peel Safe for Every Skin Type?

The treatment is designed for a wide range of skin types and tones, but every client should be evaluated individually.

Your provider will consider:

  • Your skin type and current skin condition
  • Your history of hyperpigmentation or scarring
  • Prescription and over-the-counter skincare products
  • Recent procedures or treatments
  • Current medications
  • Active irritation, infection or open skin
  • Your lifestyle and upcoming sun exposure

A professional consultation is essential because even a minimal-downtime peel is still a potent clinical treatment.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

For the best cumulative results, your Gotox provider may recommend a series of three to six treatments spaced approximately three to four weeks apart.

Some clients may notice that their skin looks brighter or more refreshed after one session, but concerns such as uneven texture, discoloration and visible signs of aging often require a series.

Your exact plan will depend on your starting point, goals and skin’s response.

What Should I Expect After Treatment?

Because this is designed as a minimal-downtime treatment, you should not expect the dramatic shedding associated with a traditional deep peel.

Depending on your skin, you may experience:

  • Temporary redness
  • Mild sensitivity
  • Dryness or tightness
  • Light flaking
  • A brighter or more refreshed appearance

Follow the aftercare plan provided by your Gotox provider, avoid picking or exfoliating the skin and protect your skin from the sun. Results and recovery experiences vary from person to person.

Is the No-Peel Peel Right for You?

If you want to address dullness, uneven texture, discoloration or visible signs of aging—but don’t want days of noticeable peeling—the Renew Dermal Solution may be a great fit.

At Gotox Aesthetics, we don’t believe in choosing a treatment simply because it is new or potent. We begin by evaluating your skin, listening to your goals and creating a plan that makes sense for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this really a peel if my skin doesn’t peel?

Yes. Visible peeling is not the only sign that a professional treatment is working. The Renew Dermal Solution uses TCA and other ingredients to support exfoliation and skin renewal without requiring significant surface shedding.

Does the treatment hurt?

It is designed to be a more comfortable peel experience, but you may feel warmth, tingling or temporary sensitivity during application. Tell your provider immediately if you experience significant discomfort.

Can I wear makeup afterward?

Your provider will give you personalized instructions based on how your skin responds. Even with minimal-downtime treatments, it may be best to give your skin time to rest before applying makeup.

Can I combine it with other aesthetic treatments?

Possibly, but treatment timing matters. Tell your provider about recent or upcoming injectables, lasers, microneedling, waxing and other skin treatments so that your appointments can be spaced safely.

Is it appropriate for sensitive skin?

That depends on the cause and severity of your sensitivity. A consultation will help determine whether this peel or a gentler alternative is more appropriate.
